Gavin Murphy
co-founded Annkissam in the summer of 2007 with the goal of bringing innovative technology solutions to the nonprofit sector. An experienced software developer, project manager, and consultant, Mr. Murphy has served a wide range of clients in a variety of roles since graduating from Duke University with a double major in Economics and Computer Science in 2002. He currently serves as the membership chair for of the Great Blue Hill District of the Boston Minuteman Council for the Boy Scouts of America. In the past, he has volunteered for YearUp and the Duke Club of Boston.
Mollie (Grotpeter) Murphy
co-founded the company and specializes in policy, operations and work flow for Financial Management Services in participant-directed programs. Mrs. Murphy enjoys working with clients to improve efficiency, transparency and compliance in their Financial Management Services, and especially for Fiscal/Employer Agent services. In addition to her role at Annkissam, Mrs. Murphy serves as the Director of Financial Management Services at the National Resource Center for Participant-Directed Services at Boston College (previously the National Program Office for the Cash and Counseling Program). Mrs. Murphy volunteers with the Executive Service Corps of New England. She is a junior fellow with the University of Pennsylvania's American Academy of Political and Social Science and graduated Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors in Economics from Clark University.
Kevin Palmer
has spent several years building nonprofit and community capacity through technology. Prior to joining Annkissam, Mr. Palmer worked more than two years with the CTC VISTA Project following graduation from Ithaca College, first working within several Boston Public high schools and later serving as a VISTA Leader for the Project. Mr. Palmer has been deeply involved in more than 25 Annkissam projects and enjoys his role as a Project Manager. Mr. Palmer donates 10% of his time volunteering within Boston Public Schools.
Eric Sullivan
spent his previous life performing basic research in the biological sciences. After graduating from MIT with a MS in Biology, Mr. Sullivan decided to turn his lifelong passion for computer programming into a career. He has brought that passion to Annkissam, and enjoys developing technology to meet the unique operational needs of the nonprofit sector. He volunteers with Turning Point Inc.
Allison Dyer
comes from the high tech computer industry where she has over 17 years experience in Process Engineering. Ms. Dyer brought her problem solving skills to Annkissam where she enjoys developing software solutions and re-engineering work flow processes to benefit nonprofit organizations. Allison has a BS in Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a MS in Computer Science from Bridgewater State College. Allison volunteers in the public school system and as a Road to Recovery driver for the American Cancer Society.
Ashlie Willis
has experience working in a variety of fields, including investment banking and health care. Ms. Willis completed her Masters in Women’s Health in December of 2009 at Suffolk University. With Annkissam, Ms. Willis performs office management, develops training manuals and curricula, assists in project management and performs robust system testing. Ms. Willis volunteers as a labor assistant to women in need while she completes requirements to become a certified birth doula.
Dylan Cashman
has previously worked in education, and his interest in adapting computer technologies to improve efficiency and accessibility for his students led naturally into a career at Annkissam. Mr. Cashman graduated from Brown University with a BS in Mathematics, and while math is still a hobby, he spends his time now as a developer making systems in Ruby on Rails. He enjoys working with the non-profit sector, and is happy to have the opportunity to provide mission driven organizations with the technology they need to grow. Mr. Cashman volunteers with Outdoor Access and through Boston Cares.
Katherine Murray
discovered her passion for helping mission driven organizations while interning at several nonprofits during college. Ms. Murray double majored in Government and Asian Studies at Dartmouth College, where she also spent significant time volunteering with Autism Speaks. At Annkissam, Ms. Murray is engaged with business development and project management. A trained musician, she volunteers with Zumix by providing music education to at-risk youth in the Boston area.
Van Krueger
realized his interest in developing technologies for non-profits while living and volunteering in Tanzania after graduation from college. Mr. Krueger majored in Biochemistry and minored in Computer Science at Bowdoin College, where he also played on the lacrosse team. Mr. Krueger has filled a technical generalist role at Annkissam developing our data migrations, administering our servers, and helping out with our Drupal systems. Mr. Krueger volunteers at Make A Difference NOW (http://gomadnow.org).
Matthew Wean
graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Biophysical Chemistry. He went on to do research on cancer and aging at the University of Iowa, where he discovered a passion for software development. He sees mission-driven organizations as the best avenue for social change and is excited to be developing Ruby on Rails applications to support them.
